Now, what if we took all of those “dimes” we saved and gave them to YOU? What if YOU got paid to recruit talent for Sheetz?

Welcome to the Sheetz FAMbassador Program. Where current employees earn real money to help us find extraordinary talent.

Here's how it works...

  • Think about what makes someone a great Sheetz employee.

  • Go find these Sheetzy people – Your friends. Your family. Your acquaintances at church, school, sports, etc.

  • Have them select ‘Referred by a current employee’ on their application.

  • Ask them to fill out the Referral form sent to their email after their application.

  • If they get hired and stay for 60 days for stores & 90 days for SDS…you get paid! 

Help recruit. Get paid. It's that simple.

STORE REFERRAL DEETS…

  • Any Sheetz or CLI Employee under the following conditions:

    • A Manager or Supervisor cannot refer someone to a role in which the referred candidate would report directly to the Manager or Supervisor. (Supervisor Dad cannot refer Store Team Member son at same store. Manager Mom cannot refer Supervisor Husband at same store.)

    • Members of the Talent Acquisition Team or HRCs are not eligible to refer candidates.

    • Cleaning & Maintenance Attendant

    • Store Team Member

    • Store Team Member Lead

    • Supervisor

    • Multi-store Flex Supervisor

    • Assistant Manager

  • The reward for all eligible positions is a one-time payment of $500 after 60 days of employment. The referring employee is responsible for all applicable taxes and withholdings.

    There are no limits to the number of referrals an employee can make.

  • The $500 payout is available for referred applicants who apply between 5:00AM EST on May 1, 2026 and Midnight on September 30, 2026.

    • Only candidates who applied between 5:00AM EST on May 1, 2026 and Midnight on September 30, 2026 will be considered. No retroactive referrals will be considered.

    • The referred candidate MUST select ‘Referred by a current employee’ on their application under the ‘How did you hear about us?’ dropdown question and fill out the Referral form sent to their email after their application, before their hire start date, to qualify for the referral payout. Not retroactive referrals will qualify for payout.

    • If a referral is submitted with a completed application before the end of the program on September 30, but the referred candidate does not get hired until after that date, they will still receive the payout.

  • Candidate must select ‘Referred by a current employee’ on their application under the ‘How did you hear about us?’ dropdown question and they also must complete the Referral Form sent to their email after they complete their application. The Program Admin will contact each candidate to verify who referred them to the job. The referring employee will receive notice once their referral has been hired and at the 60-day payout if eligible.

  • We encourage all employees to be actively sharing post from the Sheetz Jobs social channels to be great FAMbassadors for our company. If you aren't following our channels yet, now is the time!

STORE MANAGER REFERRAL DEETS…

  • Any Sheetz or CLI Employee under the following conditions:

    • A Manager or Supervisor cannot refer someone to a role in which the referred candidate would report directly to the Manager or Supervisor. (Supervisor Dad cannot refer Store Team Member son at same store. Manager Mom cannot refer Supervisor Husband at same store.)

  • The reward for the Store Manager position is a one-time payment of $1500 after 60 days of employment. The referring employee is responsible for all applicable taxes and withholdings.

    There are no limits to the number of referrals an employee can make.

  • Only candidates who applied between 5:00AM EST on August 26, 2024 and on will be considered. The $1500 payout for Store Managers is always on and has no current end timeframe.

  • Candidates must select ‘Referred by a current employee’ on their application under the ‘How did you hear about us?’ dropdown question, and they also must complete the Referral Form sent to their email after they complete their application. The Program Admin will contact each candidate to verify who referred them to the job. The referring employee will receive notice once their referral has been hired and at the 60-day payout if eligible.

  • The reward for all eligible positions, excluding the SDS CDL-A Delivery Driver, is a one-time payment of $500 after 90 days of employment. SDS CDL-A Delivery Drivers receive a one-time payment of $1500 after 90 days of employment. The referring employee is responsible for all applicable taxes and withholdings. 

    There are no limits to the number of referrals an employee can make.

  • The $500 & $1500 payout is available for referred applicants who apply between 5:00AM EST on January 1, 2026 and Midnight on May 31st, 2026. 

    • Only candidates who applied between 5:00AM EST on January 1, 2026 and Midnight on May 31st, 2026 will be considered. No retroactive referrals will be considered.

    • The referred candidate MUST select ‘Referred by a current employee’ on their application under the ‘How did you hear about us?’ dropdown question and fill out the Referral form sent to their email after their application, before their hire start date, to qualify for the referral payout. HOW TO MAKE A REFERRAL

  1. Candidate will select “referring by a current employee’ on their application

  2. Complete the referral form sent to the email applied through

Let’s break it down a little further…. 

  • Employee's must direct candidate to…

    • Select ‘Referred by a current employee’ on their application under the 'How did you hear about us?' dropdown question

    • They also must complete the Referral Form sent to their email after they complete their application

  • Employees must have a candidate select ‘Referred by a current Employee’ on their application under the ‘How did you hear about us?’ dropdown question

  • A candidate will then receive an automated email with the subject line ‘Referral follow-up questions!’ to fill out a form

    • Click on the link that says: ‘Click to Complete’

  • The candidate will have to login to our ATS

  • The candidate will fill out their form with their First Name, Last Name, Phone Number and email. They will also fill out the Full Name, Phone and Email of the person who referred them

  • A candidate has to do BOTH of these steps to be eligible 

  • If the referred employee is hired, the Recruiting Operations Admin will monitor the employment status of the new hire (referral) and the employee (referrer) to ensure that they are both employed at the 90-day mark.

  • If both employees are employed, the referring employee will receive payment (minus taxes and withholdings) in their regular bi-weekly pay check within 30 days.  

  • In the event that two or more employees refer the same candidate, the referral amount will be split.

  • If someone applies to two different jobs and lists two or more different referrers, the payment will be given to the employee(s) who are listed on the job the new hire accepts.
