Temporary Start-Up Support

Want to help but can't commit to the full move? Check out these Temporary Start-Up Support opportunities to see how you can provide short-term support for Findlay's opening:

  • This Temporary Start-Up Support will allow us to leverage our existing, tenured employees at Claysburg and Burlington to assist with the training and operational support of the upcoming Findlay Facility.

  • We are targeting to have one person for each Findlay department to travel to Findlay for each wave (outlined below).

    • Wave 1: August 17, 2026 – September 25, 2026

    • Wave 2: September 27, 2026 – November , 2026

    • Interested employees can apply to one or both waves. Partial waves are not available.

Job Descriptions and Schedules

DC - Warehouse Team Members

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for preparing the trailers for each delivery. They prepare the temperature zones in the trailers, wrap pallets, then load the trailers for deliveries. Various equipment is used. We train in house on ALL equipment (even if a candidate is already certified).

    Schedule

    • Three-week rotation

    • First shift

    • 5:30 a.m. start

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for incoming orders and replenishing those items on the shelves. They restock and replenish the warehouse. Various equipment is used. We train in house on ALL equipment.

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for selecting, replenishing, and shipping orders in the cooler and freezer areas. They spend about 1/2 of their time in each area. Various equipment is used to complete these tasks. We train in house for ALL equipment used.

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for unit picking the alcohol and small item products found up at the cash register in our stores. They also pick any item we do not send to the store in a full case capacity. They are following a tote on a conveyer belt and use an RF scanner to pick correct items. Various equipment is used. We train in house on ALL equipment.

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for creating the RTE food you see in our stores. They are standing on a production line and repetitively adding ingredients, packaging goods, and labeling packages. This is repetitive work, but they rotate tasks about every 30 minutes.

    • 5 a.m. start

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for creating the baked goods you see in our stores. They are standing on a production line and repetitively adding ingredients, packaging goods, and labeling packages. This is repetitive work, but they rotate tasks about every 30 minutes. We also have runners who are frequently lifting bulk ingredients and moving items from one line to the next.

    Schedule

    • Three-week rotation

    • First shift

    • 5 or 7 a.m. start

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for unit picking the RTE food and baked goods after they are created, packaged, and labeled. We are making deliveries to our store each day of the year. This team helps load deliveries into our box trucks and sprinter vans. This team also receives orders and replenishes our warehouse daily.

  • Job Duties

    Team members are responsible for cleaning all equipment used in production. They are experts on our equipment, tear it down, clean/sanitize, and put it all back together to have it ready for production the next day. They clean our RTE and bakery area.

    Team members are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing totes used in our food prep area and totes used to deliver the RTE foods and baked goods to our stores.

  • Job Duties

    Prepare and serve meals for breakfast and lunch as well as cater meals for meetings held at the facility.

    Schedule

    • First shift: 5 a.m. start, works four 10-hour days

    • Second shift: 5 p.m. start, works five 8-hour days

  • Job Duties

    Ensure all information relating to inventory across all systems of Parts & Print is accurate and complete and that appropriate procedures are followed when handling defective, damaged, lost or store returned products at SDS. Computer work involved.

    Schedule

    • Monday - Friday

    • 5a.m.- 1:30 p.m. or 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

    • Off on Corporate Holidays

  • Job Duties

    This position is responsible for supporting food safety risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of food safety programs across Sheetz Distribution Services. This position contributes directly to daily operations by conducting pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections and verifying that the facility consistently meets established food safety and quality standards. It plays a key role in assisting in the investigation of product complaints related to items manufactured, assembled, or distributed through SDS. Additionally, the position involves collecting environmental and product samples for microbiological and quality analysis, evaluating data against established specifications, and documenting supporting corrective actions when standards are not met.

    Schedule

    • Work Week: Four days, 10-hour shifts

    • Days: Sunday – Friday (No Saturdays & no second shift)

    • Assignment: Assigned to either a Sun–Wed or Tue–Fri block.

    • Shift Times: Rotating first shift hours (typically 3 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).

    • Holidays: Holiday work is required and compensated with holiday pay.

  • Job Duties

    This position is responsible for supporting food safety risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of food safety programs across Sheetz Distribution Services. This position is responsible for training, verification, validation, and ongoing monitoring of critical food safety programs, as well as supporting investigations into product quality and food safety concerns. In addition, this position contributes to operational excellence by assisting with monthly facility inspections, maintaining and reporting on FSQA data to cross-functional teams, and serving as a backup SQF practitioner to the FSQA Manager to support SQF certification requirements.

    Schedule

    • Work Week: Five days, 8-hour shifts

    • Days: Monday – Friday (No Saturdays & no second shift)

    • Shift Times: 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

    • Holidays: Off on holidays and compensated with holiday pay.
